Digital Healthcare


Digital Companion launch together with Pharma partners
At Sidekick Health we developed companion apps in Atopic Dermatitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Breast Cancer. We co-created with our global and local Pharma partner teams the go-to-market strategies, and launch plans. Launch and promotional activities were executed by our team in multiple EU markets. User adoption, as a critical KPI was constantly tracked and improved.


EMA approved Rx+DTx Launch in Asthma
Novartis Pharma and Propeller Health co-developed a digital companion for the Breezhaler portfolio. Enerzair Breezhaler was approved by EMA with the digital companion. We established a strategic partnership with cross-divisional teams on both sides, delivering jointly the sensor and app, the EMA submission file, and the local market distribution. Global and local Novartis teams worked closely on the pioneering launch, supported by senior management as a first digital lighthouse project at Novartis.




pDTx (DiGA) launch in ADHD
MEDICE Pharma developed and launched the first DiGA in ADHD - a digital parent training for parents of kids with ADHD. I led the launch preparation including the hiToco brand strategy, launch plan, market research, and all promotional pre-launch activities. An innovative launch event with exceptional customer feedback topped the cross-functional preparation.
Cancer platform expansion to Europe
I assisted an American start-up, running a cancer community platform in the US, with the acquisition of a German cancer DTx and the development of an EU market entry strategy.


Establish a hybrid eco-system for citizens with respiratory diseases
Lovexair foundation is a patient serving, holistic service provider building a learning community. We are an international non-profit organization and innovative healthcare advocates. As we believe in leveraging technology for better and equal patient care, we develop a validated hybrid eco-system delivering clinical and social care. Lovexair is a partner of EHTEL and HIMSS providing the civic perspective on digital health and the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
Exacerbation risk prediction
AC-DC: Asthma COPD Disease Classification
At Novartis Pharma we developed, tested and patented an AI/ML enabled algorithm that allows physicians to perform a differential diagnosis of asthma and COPD. Oversight and input were provided by chairman and committees of GOLD and GINA guidelines. ACDC delivered a superior diagnostic accuracy compared to physicians.
Reducing exacerbations in COPD to avoid hospitalization can reduce healthcare cost. At Novartis we developed an algorithm to predict the risk of an upcoming exacerbation and developed a business model for the US.




Asthma Virtual Health Assistant
Together with the LoveXair Foundation we developed Altys - a virtual health assistant for asthma patients. The App aimed to help people managing their asthma more easily and to increase treatment plan adherence. We focused on sustainable behaviour change by addressing identified patient personas based on the SPUR (Social - Psychological - Usage - Rational) behavioural diagnostic tool developed by Observia.




Mobile Spirometer
Novartis Pharma distributed NuvoAir's AirSmart spirometry technology to physicians worldwide. We aimed to address the unmet medical needs of respiratory patients by increasing the number of lung function tests via the easy to use & access mobile spirometer.

Launch an inhaled Asthma drug together with a digital companion as Global Head Digital Solutions.
